How to play Zed, the most feared assassin in the Wild Rift

In both League of Legends and Wild Rift, Zed has become one of the deadly Assassin champions. The attack power that he offers is also among the largest among other Assassin champions.

This Manaless Assassin is able to finish off the enemy with one combo and use his shadow to move places, either approaching the enemy, executing combos, or running away.

Zed is also a nightmare for many players in Wild Rift, especially for those who used to play soft champions like Marksman who are less alert.  He can enter to kill the target easily, then just disappear.

However, apart from the potential damage and combos that are so large, of course, it takes hand speed and the right timing to be able to carry out each combo to the fullest. This is what makes Zed a champion who is easy to play, but difficult to master.

This time GNU will provide a little guide for those of you who want to learn to play Zed in the Wild Rift.  Without further ado, take a look below.

Passive - Contempt for the Weak

Zed's basic attack against enemies with HP below 50% will result in bonus magic damage equivalent to 7% of the enemy's maximum Health capacity. Each enemy will have a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Razor Shuriken

Energy cost: 70

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Zed throws a shuriken that deals 80 damage to the first enemy, then 48 damage to enemies on the same path after the first target.

Living Shadow

Energy cost: 25

Cooldown: 20 seconds

This skill has a passive and active component

Passive - Zed gains 35 energy every time his skill hits the same enemy twice. The energy bonus can only be obtained once every time you use Living Shadow.

Active - Zed summons a shadow that will last for 4.5 seconds, mimicking all of Zed's non-ultimate skills and having their own synergy.  Reactivating Living Shadow will cause Zed to switch positions with his shadow once.

Shadow Slash

Energy cost: 50

Cooldown: 5

Zed deals 70 damage to all enemies around him and gives slow for 1.5 seconds. Each enemy affected by this skill will reduce the Living Shadow cooldown by 2 seconds.

Death Mark

Energy cost: 0

Cooldown: 90 seconds

Zed becomes untargetable, becomes shadow and marks the target for 3.5 seconds before exploding. When it explodes, Zed will deal 64 damage plus 25% of all damage he inflicts on the enemy.

Youmuu's Ghostblade must be pursued first, followed by Duskblade of Draktharr, Mortal Reminder, and Black Cleaver.  For shoes, pick up Gluttonous Greaves which will provide added sustain.

Duskblade Of Draktharr provides the same stats as Youmuu's Ghostblade, but also provides a large bonus on-hit physical damage and slows enemies by 99% when attacking enemies after being invisible for 1 second.

Black Cleaver will add additional health capacity while Guardian Angel and Quicksilver Sash will be defense items.

Alternatively, you can buy Umbral Glaive to help clear enemy wards or traps, Hexdrinker or Maw of Malmortius to deal with burst magic damage from enemies, or Death's Dance for additional defense and lifesteal.

Electrocute will deal massive damage to each of your combos, while Brutal will help Zed finish off enemy tanks.  Spirit Walkers grants 20% immunity to slow effects, and Hunter Genius grants a 2.5% cooldown reduction after killing enemies.

Zed has a fairly difficult combo mechanism. Therefore, it is highly recommended to do the exercises first to understand how the combos work.

In the early game, try to focus on collecting gold and levels first because Zed is quite dependent on his items. If you already have Youmuu's Ghostblade, then you can start aiming for the kill, but stay alert.

If the match has entered the mid game, then try to replace the Ward with Sweeping Lends or buy Umbral Glaive to clear the enemy's wards or traps.  Often gang up on the side lane, farming enemy champions to create snowballs.

Don't buy time until late game because Zed's effectiveness will decrease like other Assassins and make the game more difficult.
